BSc (Health Systems Management

BSc (Health Systems Management) graduates will be expected to undertake the following in the management of Health care services:

  • Participate in strategic planning of Health care services
  • Manage Healthcare delivery systems at National, County and Sub-county levels
  • Develop institutional operational and annual plans
  • Prepare and monitor budgets for Healthcare operations
  • Develop proposals for funding to support Health systems operations
  • Coordinate the linkage of Healthcare service and Health training organizations
  • Undertake operational research for better Health systems
  • Manage physical infrastructure and equipments in Health organizations and ensure preventive maintenance
  • Plan and implement continuous professional programmes for various health personnel.
